Word Version

Meeting called to order at 6:30 pm

New Business:

A. Light Pole Banners:  Ed Roberge previously communicated with the PVA that 27 light fixtures would be installed throughout the Village.  A total of 21 lighting fixtures will actually be on Village Street.  15 of these will have banner arm supports, but there will be a total of 18 banners arm supports as the 3 light fixtures on the roundabout splitter islands accommodate 2 banners each.  The poles allow for 2’ x 4’ banners.  (In addition there are also 10 fixtures with flag brackets).

Ed Bush, our Banner Committee Chair, presented information he had research for holiday banners for our much awaited Village light poles.  Ed obtained information from Downtown Graphics Network, Inc. (www.dgnic.com).  After viewing numerous options, the Board decided to choose designs that were non-holiday specific with the thought that they’d be up for the entire winter.  The following Banners were chosen:

Snowflakes/Welcome 2123 3 = Snow Flake “Welcome” Banners - #3123 (Light Blue Fabric)
Winter Cardinals 3 = Cardinal Banners “Penacook” Banners - #4085 (Royal Blue Fabric)
Peace/Star 2105 3 = Star / Peace Banners - #2105 (Dark Blue Fabric)
Hol Tree 049-A 3 = HolTree Banner - #049-A (Dark Green Fabric)
Snowman 2205 3 = Snowman Banner - #2205 (Light Green Fabric)
No Pic 3 = Horn Holiday (Peace/Joy) - #2707 (Red Fabric)

B. November 8th Meeting – Decision made that regular meeting will be cancelled.  This meeting will be utilized by the Ribbon Cutting Committee to make final preparations for the event.  Lynn to send out and email to that effect and to invite interested members to attend.

C. Brent received e-mail from Donovan Burleigh student at SNHU.  He’s looking to meet for a sustainable tourism policy project for the Village of Penacook.  Brent will contact him for more information.
